NSI’s creative for Anheuser-Busch provides POS for important new product launch
NSI’s creative services was awarded the job of creating a Point-of-Sale look and feel, along with designing the finished pieces, for Budweiser American Ale. As the very first ale launched by Anheuser-Busch InBev, American Ale’s POS design had to be original, bold and eye-catching – designed to make a significant impact in the market.
Taking a cue from the amber color of the ale, NSI designed the deliverables with rich burgundy tones giving it a classic, bold, craft look. The items offered to Wholesalers included:
- Sign making templates
- Draught sell sheets
- Neon signs
- Bookmarker/product cards
- Point-of-Sale items, including tappers, coasters, cooler stickers, table tents, shelf strips and C.A.P.S. inserts, all the elements Wholesalers and Retailers might need to encourage trial of Budweiser’s FIRST ale product
Response to the POS exceeded expectations – more than 70 percent of the A-B Wholesaler network bought into the brand. Demand for materials was so high that temporary materials were made available and put to use until the final pieces could be completed.
The introduction of the first ale for Budweiser has been well-received; overall sales have been brisk: Wholesalers and consumers alike report repeat ordering and enjoying of Budweiser’s American Ale, thanks in part to the team effort of NSI.
